Communal Justice Project
The primary focus of the Communal Justice Project is to provide support to those being released from prison into the community. Key objectives of the service include assisting participants with social integration, preparation for employment and the obtaining of stable housing. Without this assistance many people recently released from prison would have no social support, employment or housing all these factors leading towards potential recidivism.

How to Access the Program?
Participants are referred to the program by prison chaplains and/or prison staff.
What program participants most need:
Housing: People and organisations that are willing to assist us by providing access to their property at a reasonable rental rate. One, two and three bedroom properties are required urgently.
Employment options: Employment is not just to pay the rent. Employment helps to rebuild program participant’s self-esteem, and provides a social network – someone to talk to and an avenue to create new acquaintances and friends.
